Please be notified of the following special operation arrangements adopted by the Public Prosecutions Office (MP) from 18 to 22 July 2022 in compliance with the latest epidemic prevention measures of the Macao SAR Government to avoid crowd gathering and maintain effective judicial operation:

1. All Prosecutorial Offices will serve on a shift basis to proceed with urgent cases.

2. MP Criminal Proceedings Office (located at Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, no. 683, Edifício do Ministério Público) will be open from 9am to 1pm on 18, 20 and 22 July (Monday, Wendesday and Friday) to provide urgente services only. Other arrangements can be made for urgente cases occurred outside the abovementioned period.

Members of the public who need to visit the Criminal Proceedings Office shall make appointment by calling 28728268 in advance if possible.

3. Appointments for legal advice service provided by the Prosecutorial Office at the Primary Court (situated at Avenida da Infante D. Henrique, the Macau Square, 3rd floor) can be made by phone calls.

Members of the public in need may call 28557714 from 9am to 1pm between 18 and 22 July 2022 to schedule for appointments.

4. Taking of non-urgent statements and declarations, mediation and medical inspection for labour cases, as well as other measures originally scheduled for 18 to 22 July at any Prosecutorial Offices will be rescheduled. MP will notify the parties concerned of the rescheduled date.

5. The Office of the Prosecutor General will serve on a shift basis to support MP’s litigation procedures.

6. Members of the public shall present health code to which negative result of COVID-19 rapid antigen self-test carried out on the same day has been uploaded upon entering any Prosecutorial Offices.

7. MP will announce operation arrangements in response to anti-epidemic needs in a timely manner.
