To conform to the Macao SAR Government’s current epidemic prevention measures and to curb the risk of spreading of virus, the MP will have special operational arrangements in place between 8 and 16 February 2020, to ensure effective conduction of judicial work. Please be noted that—

1. During the five working days from 10 to 14 February, the MP Criminal Proceedings Office (situated at NAPE, Dynasty Plaza, 2nd floor) will maintain basic operation on a shift basis. Meanwhile, the Office will be open to external parties for urgent cases from 09:00am to 01:00pm on 8, 10, 12, 14 and 15 February, to ensure that criminal investigation procedures will be carried out according to law.

2. Between 8 and 16 February, Prosecutorial Offices at three levels of Courts will be operating on a shift basis to secure conduction of urgent cases. Legal advice service provided by the Prosecutorial Office at the Primary Court, situated at Avenida da Infante D. Henrique, The Macau Square, 3rd floor, will be arranged by telephone calls. Public members may call 28557714 during office hours to make an appointment.

3. The Office of the Prosecutor General will also provide urgent services on a shift basis to ensure overall support to MP’s litigation procedures.

4. Non-urgent taking of statements, declarations and other proceedings measures scheduled to be conducted at any Prosecutorial Office during the abovementioned period will be cancelled. MP will notify relevant parties of a rescheduled date.
