The Chief Executive, Chui Sai On, presided over the swearing-in ceremony of five prosecutors, namely Ho I Sut, Mui Cheng Fei, Chong Sio U, Pao In Hang and Lei Un San. During the ceremony, the Prosecutor General, Ip Son Sang, officiated and administered oath taking by the prosecutors. The ceremony took place at 12:30pm on 1 November 2017 in the multi-purpose hall of the Public Prosecutions Office (MP) located on 7/F, Dynasty Plaza, Alameda Dr. Carlos D’Assumpção, NAPE.

The five prosecutors passed the admission examination of the training course for judges and prosecutors in 2015. Subsequently, they took a two-year theoretical and traineeship course conducted by the Legal and Judicial Training Centre (CFJJ). On 6 September 2017, they completed the traineeship with overall passing grades.

According to the Executive Order No. 98/2017, published in Issue 43/2017, Series I of the Macao SAR Official Gazette on 23 October 2017, the Chief Executive appointed Ho I Sut, Mui Cheng Fei, Chong Sio U, Pao In Hang and Lei Un San as prosecutors of the Macao SAR, by definitive appointment, upon nomination of the Prosecutor General, effective from 1 November 2017.

Below are the résumés of the new prosecutors:

1. Prosecutor Ho I Sut, female, obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and Master's Degree in Law in Portuguese Language from the University of Macau in 2010 and 2017 respectively. Ms. Ho was previously a senior technician at the Office for Personal Data Protection.

2. Prosecutor Mui Cheng Fei, female, was conferred the Bachelor's Degree in Law in Chinese Language by the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau in 2012. She previously practised as a trainee lawyer.

3. Prosecutor Chong Sio U, female, acquired her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Law in Chinese Language from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau in 2006 and 2011 respectively. Ms. Chong worked as an investigator and senior investigator at the Commission against Corruption (CCAC), as well as senior instructor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau. Between 2009 and 2015, she was a practising trainee lawyer and lawyer.

4. Prosecutor Pao In Hang, male, was awarded the Bachelor's and Master's Degrees of Law in Chinese Language by the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau in 2013 and 2015 respectively. Mr. Pao was previously a practising trainee lawyer.

5. Prosecutor Lei Un San, female, obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Law in Chinese Language from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau in 2013.
