Representatives of the Public Prosecutions Office attended the “2026 Comprehensive Competence Enhancement Training Programme for Police Officers” in Zhuhai (2026-06-30)

Prosecutor Ling Lee Celina and Chief Judicial Clerk Fong Iat Cheong represented this Office at the “2026 Comprehensive Competence Enhancement Training Programme for Police Officers” in Zhuhai from 22 to 26 June 2026. The programme was coorganized by the Zhuhai Municipal People’s Procuratorate of the Guangdong Province and the Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai, integrating thematic lectures and practical teaching sessions on the global landscape, prosecutorial practice, anti-money laundering legal systems, communication and management, among other topics.

During the thematic lecture segment, the instructors delivered presentations on topics such as “Major-Power Rivalry and China's Neighboring Geopolitical Environment”, “A comprehensive overview of Anti-Money Laundering Law” and “Staying Committed to Original Aspiration and Mission: Political Competence of Prosecutorial Personnel in the New Era”. The lecture incorporated theoretical and practical aspects, allowing MP delegates to better understand the global landscape, anti-money laundering regime and relevant matters.

Apart from attending thematic lectures, participants also visited the Lianhuashan Park, the “Great Tides Surge Along the Pearl River” Exhibition at the Reform and Opening-up Exhibition Hall, and the SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd. Through these field trips, MP representatives learnt more about the course of reform and opening-up in Guangdong, the innovative development achievements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the positive role of technology enterprises in driving high-quality development.
