On 30 November 2023, President Zhang Haibo of the High People’s Court of Guangdong Province led an eight-member delegation, accompanied by Judge Song Man Lei of the Macao SAR’s Court of Final Appeal, to visit the SAR’s Public Prosecutions Office (MP), where they were warmly received by the Prosecutor General, Ip Son Sang. The two sides exchanged views on the judiciary and their judicial work.

Delegates attending the meeting are Executive Vice President of the Guangdong High People’s Court, Zhong Jianping; President of the Guangzhou Intermediate People’s Court, Yang Zhenggen; Acting President of the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court, Zhao Juhua; Standing Member of Adjudication Committee of the Guangdong High People’s Court, Wang Jing; Acting President of the Zhuhai Intermediate People’s Court, Jin Jun; Director of Office, Deng Juliang and Secretary of the President, Liu Shidan, both from the Guangdong High People’s Court; and Acting Chief of the Office of the President of the MSAR Court of Final Appeal, Chan Kak. MP participants include Assistant Prosecutors General Ma Iek, Mai Man Ieng and Choi Keng Fai; and Ng Meng Tai, advisor of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
