On 7 September 2023, Prosecutor General, Ip Son Sang, met with a five-member delegation of the Hebei Provincial Supervisory Commission visiting the Public Prosecutions Office (MP), led by Director of the Publicity Department, Wang Yongjun. During the meeting, Ip Son Sang introduced how criminal cases are handled at MP, crime prevention measures adopted and mutual legal assistance conducted. The two sides also exchanged views on the relevant matters.

Other delegates who attended the meeting included the Deputy Director of the Case Supervision and Management Office of the Hebei Provincial Supervisory Commission, Lu Zhenchao; the Deputy Director of the 13th Examination and Investigation Office cum Chief of the Fugitive and Asset Recovery Division, Ma Xinzhong; the Deputy Director of the Publicity Department, Fan Xiaohua; and the Deputy Director of the 8th Examination and Investigation Office, Xie Li Guo. MP Prosecutor Coordinator, Lai U Hou; Adviser of the Office of the Prosecutor General, Ng Meng Tai; and Interim Head of the Judicial Affairs Department, Cheok Sin Chi, also attended the meeting.
