From 5th to 8th November 2019, a delegation of the Public Prosecutions Office (MP) attended the “12th China-ASEAN Prosecutors General Conference” held in Siem Reap, Cambodia upon invitation of the General Prosecution Office of the Kingdom of Cambodia. During the plenary session, MP delegation head and Assistant Prosecutor General Mr. Cheng Lap Fok presented a keynote speech on the conference theme “The Role of the Public Prosecutions Office in Regionally Combating Human Trafficking”. Mr Cheng introduced the legal framework of the Macao SAR in the relevant field, MP’s past experience on fighting human trafficking activities, measures adopted, and its functions on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.

MP delegates include Prosecutors Mr Wu Hio and Mr Cheng Hoi Fung, amongst others.
