A delegation of the Public Prosecutions Office of the Macao SAR headed by Prosecutor General, Ip Son Sang, visited the Fujian Province from 13^th to 16^th May 2015. The delegation called on the Fujian Provincial People's Procuratorate, People's High Court and Public Security Department, amongst others, for work meetings and exchanges. Secretary of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Fujian Province, Chen Dong, Provincial Chief Prosecutor, He Zezhong, President of the Provincial High Court, Ma Xinlan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Public Security Department, Xue Qi'an, Member of the Party Commission of the Provincial Judicial Department and Head of the Drug Rehabilitation Bureau, Chen Qiang, Chief Prosecutor of Fuzhou City, Ye Yanpei, attached great importance to the visit and cordially received the delegates. The two sides conducted intensive discussions on pushing forward cooperation between judicial agencies of Fujian and Macao, and strengthening anti-crime initiatives between the two places.

In view of the long-standing history of exchanges between Fujian and Macao, Prosecutor General, Ip Son Song, and his delegation visited judicial and law enforcement agencies of Fujian to promote further exchanges and cooperation in combating cross-border crimes and maintaining social peace and stability. The two sides made in-depth analyses and discussions on concerted efforts in combating cross-boundary crimes in numerous themed seminars and meetings with various departments respectively. Furthermore, the Fujian Provincial Procuratorate, High Court and Public Security Department also looked forward to having smooth judicial cooperation with Macao in mutual case assistance and the fight against cross-boundary crime as always.
