The Public Prosecutions Office (MP) received and held a seminar for 30 participants of the “Legal Freshmen” programme organized by the General Association of Chinese Students of Macau (AECM) on 29 July.
During the seminar, Adviser of the Office of the Prosecutor General (GP), Chan Chi Ieong, introduced MP’s powers, duties and operational model, as well as legal knowledge on juvenile delinquency prevention to the participants.
In the following exchange session, participants actively raised questions on MP’s work, criminal prevention and related topics.
AECM representatives in attendance included Further Studies and Psychological Counselors, Lei Chon Keong and Loi Cheng Man; Chairman of the Programme’s Organizing Committee, Wong Iat U; and 30 university and secondary school students participating in the “Legal Freshmen” programme. As for the MP, the Head of the Judicial Affairs Department of the GP, Cheok Sin Chi, also joined the seminar.
