The main responsibilities of the Prosecutorial Office at the Court of Second Instance include:
- Participating in cases where the Court of Second Instance adjudicates cases at first instance;
- Participating in criminal, civil, family affairs, labour and administrative cases appealed to the Court of Second Instance, including submitting replies to appeals or written opinions on such cases;
- Deciding whether to appeal against judgements or adjudications issued by the Court of Second Instance to the Court of Final Appeal.
